YOUNG AG LEADERS:
The Young Ag Leaders (YAL) is designed to help young men and women who are actively involved in agriculture, have a strong agriculture background, or wish to enhance their knowledge of agriculture, do so in a social, family orientated environment. The goal of the YAL Committee is to develop individuals to one day become superior leaders in Farm Bureau and in the agriculture industry. The YAL meet the 2nd Tuesday of months when field work is not required at noon.

County-Wide 4th Grade Safety Day, Agribusiness Tours, Farm Bureau/FFA Acquaintance Day, Tractor Pedal Pulls, Food Check Out Day
WOMEN'S COMMITTEE:
The purposed of the Women's Committee is to increase the knowledge of new technologies, programs, and regulations in the agriculture industry. They also work to increase agriculture awareness and importance in the community. The Women's Committee meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 1:15 p.m.

Fall School Visits, 3-A-Day Dairy Promotion, Marketing Programs.
PRIME TIMERS COMMITTEE:
The purpose of the Prime Timers Committee is to create a fun, social, learning environment for individuals 55 and older, by taking trips and listening to speakers on new subject matters. The Prime Timers meet the 4th Thursday of every month at noon.

Major Programs:
Ice Cream Social, Overnight trips (to Kentucky and Michigan) Trips to Little Theater on the Square, music entertainment
LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE:
The legislative committee keeps the county farm bureau and its members informed about legislative activities at the local, state, and federal level. They also work to encourage other farm bureau members to get involved and take action in the pontifical process.

Major Programs:
Adopted Legislator Visits, Legislative Roundtable, involvement with the Monticello Airport, Monticello Truck/Farm Route, and the Proposed Corn Mill in Piatt County, responses to Action Requests, Involvement in talking points for Food vs. Fuel Debates and Farm Bill.
COMMODITIES AND MARKETING:
This committee provides educational programs and seminars to farmers to increase their bottom line and make their agriculture business more profitable.

Barge Tours, Marketing Meetings, Piatt County Farming Series, Commodity promotion.
MEMBERSHIP:
The purpose of the membership committee is to retain and recruit new members to the farm bureau, to build employee relations between the affiliated companies, and to encourage leadership development among the farm bureau leaders. They also promote programs that will add value to a farm bureau membership.
