2010 Scholarships

The money for the 2010 Scholarships has been awarded to three students in Piatt County and will be remitted in January, 2011.  Two of the students have been recognized at their High School Awards/Honors Night.  Elise Krause of Cerro Gordo received $2,000 toward her study of agricultural economics and Jon Strode of Monticello received $1,500 toward his study of large animal veterinary science.  The third student will received their scholarship notification at a later date. 

About the Foundation

The Piatt County Farm Bureau Foundation was incorporated on October 8, 1992. 

The purpose of the Foundation is to provide scholarships for persons studying agriculture and related fields, including, but not limited to business, economics, education, veterinary medicine, association management, and leadership development, and to encourage, promote, and fund the design, development and distribution of educational and instructional materials and programs to provided improved instruction about agriculture, horticulture, and related fields.
